Okay...we got that out of our system!
It is always good to have a let down to remind us that we still have a lot of work to do -- I was just hoping to have it mid-season. I guess we should not have expected much with all of the candy and running and sodas and candy and running and sodas and ...for the two to five hours before the game. We will all be ready to go on Tuesday and you will see the team that has been working very hard for the past three weeks.
Speaking of working hard, thanks for all of you who worked a booth or game at the carnival. It does mean a lot to me and Kellie that you stepped up and represented our team. If you were not able to volunteer this time around, we have a few opportunities to work in the snack bar (see Kellie for details if you can help). I am also looking for a few people to assist in keeping score in the official scorebook and working the scoreboard on home games. Please let me know if you would be willing to help with this.
Have a great couple of days rest and we will see you all on Tuesday at 5 PM in full uniform. We have games this week on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
